I am off to Portland to visit my brother. I’ll be out on the west coast from Friday through Tuesday.

My mom wanted to get me a graduation present. Matt and Jessy weren’t going to be able to make it to Wisconsin for our traditional Father’s Day trip to Door County. So mom and I are headed out there to visit them.

I am looking forward to it. My first trip west of Las Vegas and my first chance to actually touch an ocean (I’ve flown over the Atlantic and been under Boston Harbor but I’ve never actually touched an ocean). I am not sure what we’ll be doing but Matt has hinted that he has plans. It should be fun.
